Fixing OS X SecureMustangWireless by Starting From Scratch:

If you have configured your Mac laptop for SecureMustangWireless, but still cannot connect, then try following this process:

1. Open Network Preferences

2. Turn WiFi off

3. Go to Advanced settings

4. Delete wireless profile by hitting the minus button as shown
* Also delete all 802.1x profiles in “802.1x” tab

5. To delete 802.1x profiles:
a.) Open Keychain Access app in Spotlight or /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app:

b.) Delete certificates: Delete all entries after searching for “mustang”,  “calpoly” and “802
* Enter computer password when prompted (may bring up multiple prompts)

6. Attempt to login into SecureMustangWireless.

7. If this does not work in 10.7-10.9:

  1. Open Terminal.app in /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
  2. Type in ONE LINE:

sudo mv /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist.backup   

NOTE: There is a space between …eapolclient.configuration.plist and Library/Preferences…

3. Type user’s computer password, restart computer, and try logging in again.
